Boudicca Productions

The Company

Who We Are

A small company with a large appetite for story. Here are the people who make the work.

Holly Hipwell as a child with her father

Holly Hipwell

Founder

Creative Director

Holly is happiest when she has a big idea to untangle and a plan to bring to life. She is particularly proud of her role managing the logistics behind the global Miu Miu Summer Reads campaign.

Her love of theatre began with childhood trips to the West End and grew into a belief that stories can help us understand lives beyond our own. She soon realised the puzzle behind the scenes suited her best. For Holly, there is nothing better than taking a messy, ambitious idea and figuring out how all the moving parts fit together to build the bigger picture.

Beyond her laptop, Holly enjoys debating other dog parents as to why Luna is far superior, hunting for the next fantasy novel with a steamy cup of coffee and sweet talking Claude (the AI) into doing her bidding.

Eleanor Wilson

Eleanor Wilson

Founder

Creative Director

Eleanor describes herself as a scribbler, a sorter and a show tune lover.

After graduating from the Guildford School of Acting with a BA in Theatre Production, specialising in Stage Management, she went on to work as an assistant at several leading talent agencies, which she still does and thoroughly enjoys.

She credits her background in stage management with making her an expert wrangler of information, actors and creatives alike, while also fostering an addiction to beautifully organised spreadsheets and even prettier stationery.

Away from the theatre, she's most likely rifling through charity bookshops, drinking Diet Coke... and, let's be honest, thinking about theatre.

Annabel Caldwell as a child

Annabel Caldwell

Founder

Creative Associate

Before co-founding Boudicca Productions, Annabel graduated with a BA in Theology and Performing Arts in 2024, gaining experience across acting, directing, writing and production. She later completed the Mercury Theatre's Directors' Course, further refining her directing practice and creative leadership.

Since graduating, Annabel has worked across a range of professional and amateur productions as an assistant director, stage manager, performer and co-director. She is passionate about championing new writing, reimagining classic texts and creating rehearsal rooms where creativity and collaboration can flourish.

Outside the rehearsal room, Annabel can usually be found serving pints at work, adding an unruly number of books to her ever-growing "to be read" pile, or convincing herself that buying just one more Sanrio blind box is a perfectly sensible investment.
