Our Mission

Boudicca Productions is a female-founded theatre company creating bold, original theatre across Essex and the wider East of England. Born from a desire to address the underrepresentation of women's voices in the creative industries, we champion new writing and provide a platform for women and other underrepresented artists to tell stories that challenge, celebrate and connect.

Our mission is to nurture local talent, foster meaningful collaboration, and bring ambitious, contemporary productions to audiences who don't always see their experiences reflected on stage. Through new writing and innovative performance, we aim to contribute to a richer, more inclusive cultural landscape across the region.

We are currently developing something exciting for Colchester Fringe this October. We are keeping the details under wraps for now, but it marks the beginning of our commitment to championing fresh voices and creating theatre that reflects the diversity of East Anglia and beyond.
